Crazy water-filled weekends

I'm not going to waste any time with these stories because it has been a long rough weekend.

Last weekend: Saturday we caught one big barr right off the bat. He cut Whitey DEEP on the cheek. Today was the first day he's been remotely able to hunt since then. We caught 2 more little pigs later on, but Travis was alone when he caught them, so I have no stories for them.

After our long morning we headed to                                                Stockton for the Wild Hog Round-Up

Sunday was just as rough. We had some long runners, but finally ended up with two. We caught the big boar in a briar thicket. He tried to put us out the dog business, but they're tougher than he was.

Yeah.... he's cool
The briars tried to eat Henry ALIVE!!

This weekend was not any better.
Saturday ended up being just me, dad, and James. We ended up with 2. Stopped hunting and was back at the truck by 9:30. Our first bay was in the middle of a slew and dad was wet and miserable lol so we called it a day early.
We had to rig :)

And today we ended up with six, but I only got a picture of our first boar we caught this morning IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ALLIGATOR POND!!
He doesn't look very big in the pics but he was about 120 pounds.

  1. Hi Brianna, do you have a picture of yourself stabbing a hog, or posing with an alive hog?

  2. We try not to stab. We prefer to shoot after we tie. I lost my phone a while back so I lost most of my pics. Sorry. 😔
